I think it's really important that we start paying much closer attention to all the Evangelical Christian Right connections & influences relating to the Harper government because policies may be and are likely being influenced by some of these beliefs. And it seems that the Canadian public is largely ignorant of these connections & philosophies, as is the media - or at least they're not reporting much on it. Really appreciate this & will be sharing it with others. Thank you for this article, Dennis. In the name of improving security, we are spending billions on the war in Afghanistan with very dubious results. Meanwhile, we could be doing much more work like the work Kairos does, which would certainly make this world a fairer place and contribute to efforts to have a livable world to pass on to the world's children.
